Personal Commentary: In addition, read Google Maps Is Changing the Way We See the World  by Evan Ratliff.  Students need to have practice with map making of this nature so that they can begin to view and create other maps and be a productive part of this change. We can't just leave map-making in the hands of a few. We need to facilitate this learning for our students by getting them involved and seeking their feedback to share with others. I invite you to think about this and respond!
